House Rules

POWER The cabin is solar powered 100% off grid. Solar power is very cool but it does have limitations. Please DO NOT plug anything into the bathroom solar inverter. You can use a blow dryer or curling inside the cabin if you want. Just be sure to unplug it when finished. WATER Your water is provided by a 1,000 gallon tank. Please understand that there is no city water access and getting water is difficult. Limiting showers to less than 10 minutes is kind. Water can go very quickly here. Do not drink the sink or shower water. It is not potable water. Bring bottled water. In reality, it is probably drinkable but without testing it is not potable and I would not drink it.

Little Burro Country Store is only a mile away and you can get beer, ice, and snacks there. Sometimes you can get high quality meat from West Texas Cattle Co there too. The location is ideal for a West Texas vacation because you can easily get to the park, Alpine, or Marfa.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire 20-acre property, ensuring privacy and freedom to explore all the amenities mentioned. Enjoy full use of the cozy cabin, private pickleball court, outdoor kitchen, and all the facilities within the property's boundaries. Whether it’s whipping up a meal in the shaded outdoor kitchen, unwinding by the fire pit, or taking in the expansive views from the outdoor shower, the space is yours to discover and delight in during your stay. To the south, east, and west, you are surrounded by nothing but breathtaking views. To the north, you'll notice an RV and a small camper that belong to a neighboring Airbnb property; they are located behind you and the cabin several acres away, ensuring your privacy. For directions to the pickleball court, please refer to the house manual after booking, it’s just a short walk from the patio.

The place was amazing , gorgeous views , peaceful, the pickleball court was a hit for us , being able to eat our meals outside under the stars or drink our coffee as the sun rises was amazing. Definitely recommend and not a far drive from Big Bend National Park to do some hiking .

This place is amazing!! Beautiful views, secluded but everything you need to make yourself a home. I highly recommend staying here if you want some peace and quiet and plan on visiting big bend! Justin was awesome and very helpful!

Justin's Cosmic Cowboy Get away under the stars was a stelar experience! First and foremost, the pictures does not do it justice. This cabin is located in a very private space with no neighbors no noise away from the city the views for when the sun goes down and rises are breathtaking with the mountains in the background it looks like a postcard. I couldn’t recommend this place more. This is definitely a hidden gem in Texas and the pictures perfectly describe the cabin. Justin was very helpful with recommendations in the area to go to and answered all my questions quick and was very friendly. I came here for my first anniversary with my wife and we will absolutely be coming back. It was absolutely amazing just to get away from the city and enjoy a peaceful beautiful time with my wife. I just have to say one more time this place is beautiful in every way. Thank you Justin for everything.

My purpose for going was to see the stars away from light and to get some peace and quiet. It did not disappoint. if you want somewhere off the grid, this is your place. I highly recommend it. Also Justin is quick to respond. Go check it out. I would suggest one thing and that is to bring outdoor chairs so that you can watch the sky! Great place.

We had such a wonderful stay! The cabin was perfectly remote, giving us the peace and quiet we were looking for, but still had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. One of the absolute highlights was the night sky—it was breathtaking, unlike anything you see in the city. If you’re looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy nature, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Can’t say anything but amazing! If you are looking for a secluded getaway this is it! Justin was very helpful with everything. The place was immaculate and had everything you needed. Cooking was easy, the shower view couldn’t be beat and the hammock was just perfect!
